Who We Are

Your Host

Hi, I'm Callie! I'm a mom of four who loves to get out and explore with my family. I created Forced Family Fun because nothing is more important to me than making memories with my loved ones. Of course, sometimes those loved ones (especially the teens) need a little convincing. So, we joke that we're "forcing" them to have fun with us!

 

I’m passionate about creating comfortable spaces where you can enjoy quality time together, and yes—"force" your people to make lasting memories. It’s all about those moments that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time are check-in and checkout?
Check-in is at 4:00pm and checkout is at 10:00am.
Are early check-in and late checkout available?
After booking, you will receive a link to request a 2-hour early check-in or late checkout for a small fee. This request goes to our cleaning team who will approve it if they can accommodate it in their schedules that day.
Do you allow pets?
Our Kanab properties do not allow pets. Our Heber-Overgaard cabins do allow pets for a fee of $50 per pet per reservation. (Pets are not to be left in the cabin unattended unless in a crate. Please bring your own blankets/towels for your pet. Pets are not allowed on furniture.)
How far are the properties from the nearby National Parks?
Kanab, UT is about a 40-minute drive to the East entrance of Zion National Park, about 1 hour 20 minutes to Bryce Canyon National Park, and 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Grand Canyon North Rim. Heber-Overgaard, AZ is about an hour drive to the Petrified Forest National Park.

My husband and I spent our first wedding anniversary here over the weekend. It was one of the best places we have ever stayed at. It was so cozy and such a beautiful cabin! The surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous. We even got to see deer across the street one morning. Our dogs loved it too! Callie is so nice and helpful! We would definitely stay here again.

We loved Callie + Zach's place! It was exactly as pictured; a lovely home with plenty of space for our family of five. The kids loved the bunk beds and pool, and we loved the spacious walk-in closet (not something I realized I needed, but so helpful for organizing our packing cubes in an unobtrusive way) and beautiful primary bedroom. This home was in a brilliant location; it allowed us to easily access Zion, Bryce Canyon, and Antelope Canyon during our visit and was the perfect retreat. We can't say enough good things; would highly recommend and absolutely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Kanab. Callie had amazing recommendations and even discounts for some of the activities we did. (UTV ride highly recommended!) We were a family of 7 and we were very comfortable with room to spare. The home was just as pictured. The hiking trails behind the home was a nice last day activity as well before check out. Would definitely book again if we’re ever in the area in the future. Thank you Callie!

Callie's place was a dream! We had 4 adults and 4 kids in our group, and the set up was perfect. Loved that there was a king bed for each couple and the kids had so much fun in the bunk room. We could tell right away that Callie puts so much time and care into this rental. It was so nice to be well stocked on supplies like tp, paper towels, trash bags, dishwasher pods, detergent, etc that most rentals do not provide. We loved the backyard space, the pool area, and the neighborhood. Callie was very responsive when we asked for recommendations and always super helpful. Kanab was awesome, and if we are ever lucky enough to return, we will definitely be staying at Callie's place again!
