The Bear Paw cabin has a large front porch. A great spot to sit and drink your morning coffee.
The upper star-gazing deck off the loft. Come out here during the day to hang out and enjoy nature or come out at night to get great views of the stars!
The primary bedroom has a queen size bed, and the entrance to the back deck with the private hot tub.
The propane fireplace keeps it cozy and warm. There is a 55" Roku TV that you can log into your own streaming services.
Brand new private hot tub on the back patio just outside the doors from the primary suite. Relax and take in the views of the red cliffs and the stars!

Your Host

Hi, I'm Callie! I'm a mom of four who loves to get out and explore with my family. I created Forced Family Fun because nothing is more important to me than making memories with my loved ones. Of course, sometimes those loved ones (especially the teens) need a little convincing. So, we joke that we're "forcing" them to have fun with us!

 

I’m passionate about creating comfortable spaces where you can enjoy quality time together, and yes—"force" your people to make lasting memories. It’s all about those moments that will stay with you for a lifetime.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time are check-in and checkout?
Check-in is at 4:00pm and checkout is at 10:00am.
Are early check-in and late checkout available?
After booking, you will receive a link to request a 2-hour early check-in or late checkout for a small fee. This request goes to our cleaning team who will approve it if they can accommodate it in their schedules that day.
Do you allow pets?
Our Kanab properties do not allow pets. Our Heber-Overgaard cabins do allow pets for a fee of $50 per pet per reservation. (Pets are not to be left in the cabin unattended unless in a crate. Please bring your own blankets/towels for your pet. Pets are not allowed on furniture.)
How far are the properties from the nearby National Parks?
Kanab, UT is about a 40-minute drive to the East entrance of Zion National Park, about 1 hour 20 minutes to Bryce Canyon National Park, and 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Grand Canyon North Rim. Heber-Overgaard, AZ is about an hour drive to the Petrified Forest National Park.

After some delightful local hikes, this listing was a seriously nice place to unwind. The hot tub was balm on sore parts, the kitchen was well stocked, the shower was big enough for 2, and the linens on the log bed were so soft. We will definitely visit again.

This was an amazing home with perfect location. We went in the winter and the weather was amazing! The house was laid out perfectly for our family and its remote location gave us a sense of isolation while also being close to Kanab for groceries and great food. They call Kanab base camp for a reason. We were able to hit 3 national parks and several other hiking spots while we were out. I can’t recommend Callie’s place enough! Thanks for some great memories.

Callie's cabin was absolutely wonderful, spotless, thoughtfully arranged, and very relaxing. It was by far one of the best cabins we have ever rented. Callie made the entire experience seamless and stress-free, from check-in to check-out. We initially had concerns about the cabin being close to the road, yet it is well insulated so we did not hear the road noise, and the surrounding vegetation provided plenty of privacy. We’ve stayed in many cabins in this area over the years, from luxury retreats to small, rustic getaways, this one is by far the cleanest, best maintained and most comfortable. It is clear that Callie genuinely cares about creating an exceptional experience for her guests. We highly recommend Callie’s cabin and will be staying again.
